The marketing department is responsible for the company’s communication, marketing strategies and project management.
Destination Uppsala's marketing department has overall responsibility for the company's communication and works on the external marketing of the Uppsala brand. We also work with project management and marketing of the company's internal projects and external assignments.
Destination Uppsala possesses good knowledge of project management. Some examples of assignments for which the company is project manager are Uppsala Culture Night, the National Day and Student Uppsala.

Marketing and Communications
The marketing department works on external marketing of the Uppsala brand and has communicative responsibility for the projects that the company manages. We ensure that each area of activity communicates the right message to the right target group through the right channels and at the right time.
In addition to this, we also have overall responsibility for the company’s communication, e.g. social media, websites, newsletters and Destination Days.
The Uppsala brand
On behalf of Uppsala Municipality, Destination Uppsala is responsible for planning, implementing and following up the municipality’s brand work. The marketing department has strategic responsibility for the Uppsala brand.
