Going to the markets and fleamarkets in Uppsala is a lot of fun! You can find anything from cool retro crockery to beautiful lamps, vintage clothing and fresh flowers.
Fleamarkets in squares and car boot sales
There are several recurring fleamarkets in Uppsala, with themes such as fashion, children’s clothing and sports equipment.
On Saturdays, there is usually a traditional fleamarket on the Vaksala square in central Uppsala. This is where professional antiques dealers, private individuals and school classes come to sell their bargains.
At Fyris park, there is a fleamarket every Sunday, and on certain Saturdays there is also a special fleamarket with clothes and items for children. In the summer, it moves outdoors and turns into a charming car boot sale.
On Sundays in the summer, you can also go out to Ulva mill and visit their highly popular car boot sale in a rural setting.
On Saturdays, there is also a massive fleamarket in Gottsunda, either indoors or outdoors, depending on the weather.
