On Saturday, June 2, visitors in search of a new museum experience need not look any further as Museums at Night, an annual event in Uppsala returns for the third year in a row.
Many of Uppsalas museums will participate, with extended opening hours between 8 p.m. until midnight. Visitors can look forward to an array of activities and exhibitions and enjoy all of that which Uppsala's museums always has to offer as well as special productions and events taking place for one night only.
Travel to the Vikings of Old Uppsala with Virtual Reality, visit Gustavianum where the mummies come to life and enjoy choirs and dance performances in The Tropical Garden inside the Botanical Garden. Or why not join a workshop in painting in the garden of the Bror Hjorth Museum.
