In Uppsala, it is easy to be a tourist, the distances are short so you have the time to explore. There is great shopping and restaurants and there is much to do for both young and old. The Water Park Fyrishov is one of Sweden's largest. Botanical Garden and Old Uppsala Museum of the Viking graves are really exciting places for all ages. Uppsala is also a city with many major sporting events.

A tip is to buy the Uppsala Card which gives free bus travel on public transportation and a quantity of attractive offers to many of Uppsala's sights and attractions.
